Teen Summer Reading is back and better than ever! This year, teens ages 13 to 18 have the option of completing a number of awesome activities either on an activity card or on Beanstack, the library system’s online reading tracker, for the chance to win a variety of prizes and raffles. Earn prizes by completing each of the four columns on this summer's activity card, which can be tackled in any order. Earn a grand prize raffle ticket when you complete the entire card! Also new this year, teens can log their reading on Beanstack for 20 extra chances to win. Visit your local branch for more information on prizes and availability.

Of course, the awesome BCLS teen librarians designed the activity card with the goal of helping teens have the best summer ever! Suggested activities include, check out a new musical artist, read a book, blog or graphic novel, and attend a library program. And lucky for teens, there’s no shortage of awesome library programs to attend this year, including a songwriting workshop by local musician Shawn McGhee, library lock-ins and college prep classes. Check out the BCLS Teen Page for the full teen events calendar!
