LEARN ABOUT “RETAIL INVENTORY AND CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT”
Informal Lunchtime Workshop Presented at The County Library on Jan. 14
Retail business professionals are invited to learn about available resources that will help them manage inventory and cash flow during a free workshop being offered at the Burlington County Library on Thursday, Jan. 14 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Presented by UCEDC, a non-profit economic development corporation, the “Retail Inventory and Cash Flow Management” workshop is designed for retail business owners, whether they run brick-and-mortar storefronts, pop-ups, craft fair booths, or online shops. This informal program will be held in the library’s meeting room and participants are invited to bring their questions and their lunch. Registration is required.
During the workshop, UCEDC Training & Technical Assistance Officer and experienced retailer Denise Keller will show how to estimate expenses and apply simple formulas to increase profits. The program will include:
• Industry Ratios to help determine your expenses – and where your actions can have the most effect.
• Management Formulas to estimate how much Inventory you need – and how much is too much. Please bring your 2014 Business Tax Return/Schedule C if you have one (and prior years if you’d like to analyze how your business is doing over a longer period of time). Startups are welcome, and sample financials will be available.
The Burlington County Library is located at 5 Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton.
