FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY HOST USED BOOK/MEDIA SALE NOV 3-6
Last Chance This Year to Shop for Bargains at the Burlington County Library
Fall is a great time to stock up on books to read this winter and the Friends of the Burlington County Library are ready to help with another used books and media sale scheduled for Nov 3 to Nov. 6 at the County Library in Westampton.
The Friends’ final sale of the year will feature thousands of gently used items in the library’s meeting room, including books, DVDs, CDs and more. Shop for bargains on:
• Thursday, Nov. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 6 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In addition, a preview sale offered to Friends members only will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Become a Friends member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family.)
Once again, there will be more than 7,500 books available at the sale and most will cost just 50 cents to $1 each. All books will be organized by category, and the majority will be available for the first time. Look for a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, children’s books, and books about cooking, business, hobbies, crafts, biographies, music, self-help, art, travel, history, religion, science and math, and more. There also will be at least seven carts of specially-priced coffee table, art, and oversized books, as well as puzzles available.
Shoppers also will find a variety of music CDs for $1 each, as well DVD movies and audiobooks for $2 each.
Those who want to carry their bargains home in style can purchase Friends logo tote bags for just $10 each. As a bonus, each bag comes with a $2 discount toward all book/media sales.
Also, the first 300 shoppers who purchase items at the June sale will receive $1 coupons that may be applied toward the Friends’ book/media sale scheduled for Feb. 23 to Feb. 26.
All proceeds benefit Burlington County Library programming, such as the children and adult Summer Reading Programs and the Museum Pass Program. The County Library is located on Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton. For more information, call (609) 267-9660 or visit www.bcls.lib.nj.us
