Use your library card to discover some of the best art in the world! Admission to a selection of the area’s finest art museums is free thanks to the BCLS Museum Pass program. Through this program, you have the opportunity to visit a variety of attractions and enjoy all the wonderful art, culture and education our area has to offer. Check out a pass just like you check out a book, then go exploring on us!

Kick it in Philly

Head to Broad Street just north of city hall and spend the day at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA). This historic building is home to the country’s first art museum and art school. PAFA offers new seasonal exhibits and a revolving collection of more than 16,000 works by 18th and 19th century masters, as well as works by contemporary and modern artists like Alice Neel, Mickalene Thomas, Andy Warhol, and Kehinde Wiley. This pass is printable from any computer and can be reserved here.

Double Art Date in NYC

Spend the Day in Manhattan exploring art for free at two of the country’s best art museums. Head to the Upper East Side and check out The Frick Madison, the temporary home of the Frick Collection, and view the works of the old masters from the Renaissance to the early 20th century. This Museum Pass is printable from any computer and, when used, you also get a 10 percent discount at the museum store!

After shopping, head across town to the Upper West Side for something completely different. The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is home to the most eclectic, exciting works of art by modern and contemporary artists. This pass is a card that can be checked out and returned to the Cinnaminson Library. It also offers a 10 percent discount at the museum store, so don’t forget to pick up another souvenir.

Get Artsy in NJ

WheatonArts in Millville is a rich cultural experience that’s available right here in South Jersey. While closed for the winter, it’s scheduled to reopen April 1 and you can plan your trip now. Print out a museum pass from any computer and explore the renowned Museum of American Glass with the world’s largest handblown glass bottle! WheatonArts is also home to the Down Jersey Folklife Center where you can enjoy the artistry of other cultures, and artist studios where you watch artists create works of art before your eyes.
