Match with a New Book

| Evesham Library

“Picking five favorite books is like picking five body parts you’d most like not to lose.” – Neil Gaiman

Go ahead, think of your five favorite books. Was it easy to think of one? If finding a new favorite read is a struggle but you know what you like, Book Match can help! This personalized service matches readers with books chosen by a BCLS librarian.

Launched in the fall of 2020, our Book Match service has helped more than 90 readers find their new favorite books. Selecting a book can be a daunting task, especially when visiting the library and not knowing where to start. We’ve got you covered! Our staff reply to Book Match submissions with recommended titles that might be enjoyed based on the preferences listed on the completed submission forms. The more detailed the submission, the better the results! Each submission will receive a recommended book list of at least five titles. If the books aren’t a good match, simply let us know and we’ll get back to you with more titles to choose from!

Prefer to find your next read on your own for now? We’ve got you covered there too with BCLS librarian-created Book Lists for a variety of topics, genres and authors! Find Book Lists through Beanstack, our reading tracker, with your account or at your local library branch.
