Friends Spring Book Sale

| Burlington County Library

On the lookout for a few good reads to tuck in your beach bag this summer? Plan to swing by the Friends of the Burlington County Library’s fabulous four-day books and media sale set for Thursday, May 18 to Sunday, May 21. Once again, bargain hunters will find thousands of gently-used books to browse, including plenty of leisure time reads, as well as a nice selection of DVDs, CDs and more.

In addition, a preview sale offered to Friends members only will be held on Thursday, May 18 from 4 to 6 pm. (Become a Friends member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family. It’s a great way to support your local library!)

The spring sale will feature well over 10,000 donated books that were not available at previous Friends’ sales, as well as a variety of specially priced books and an extensive collection of media items. As a bonus, the first 300 paying customers will receive $1 coupons valid for use at future Friends’ books sales.

Organized by category, most of the books will be priced at just $1 each. Explore a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, including books about history, cooking, crafts, gardening, biographies, art, religion, sports, science fiction, STEM, travel and more. The children’s sale area will feature a nice assortment of children’s books, videos, puzzles, games, parent/teacher materials, and homeschool workbooks for all ages. (Arrive early for the best selection.)

There will also be a wide variety of books available in the special cart area priced at $2.50 and up. DVDs will sell for $2 each and music CDs for $1 each. This sale will also feature a large donation of phonograph records in all formats, priced at just $1 each.

All book sale proceeds benefit library programming. The Friends welcome donations of new and gently used books and media for future sales. Please leave your items on the donation cart located in the rear of the Burlington County Library. (Please: no video cassettes, encyclopedias, Reader's Digest books, National Geographic magazines, or any items in poor or damaged condition.) Thanks for your support!
