Forever Ray: Honoring the Music of Ray Charles

Known for performing to sell-out audiences throughout the New York metropolitan area, the band Forever Ray will honor the music of Ray Charles with an exciting library tribute show on June 3 at 6:30 pm. Weather permitting, the band will perform live in the amphitheater adjacent to the Burlington County Library.

Credited with the birth of soul in the 1950s, Ray Charles enjoyed a musical career that spanned five decades and included more than 80 hit songs, including "Georgia on My Mind." His ability to combine blues, rock, jazz, gospel, R&B and even country led to other groundbreaking hits, such as “Unchain My Heart,” “I’ve Got A Woman” and “What I’d Say.” Forever Ray is sure toa deliver an exciting and uplifting tribute to this incredible artist and his wonderful blend of musical styles. According to the band’s website, its members have performed or recorded with Ray Charles, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, Prince, Stevie Wonder and Christina Aguilera.
