Every year, children and teens have fun tracking their reading progress, attending great programs and earning cool prizes, so don’t miss out. Our 2018 program runs until August 11 and we’re ready to welcome back last year’s readers while encouraging those who haven’t previously participated to jump right in!

This year’s theme is Libraries Rock and participants are encouraged to read lots of great books at home, the beach or wherever they find themselves relaxing during their time away from the classroom.

This also marks the third year participants will be able to use Beanstack, the library system’s online system for tracking what you read. Use Beanstack to log reading progress, explore Book Lists and access Activity Tracks, interactive, step-by-step guides customized for each age group and designed to encourage learning, curiosity and fun. And don’t forget to check out the free library programs about science, nature and more that will be offered at all eight library branches to help keep young minds sharp all summer long.
