Ambition the Poet

Join us for a spoken word performance by Ambition the Poet in honor of the start of Black History Month!

Ambition is a nationally recognized poet and foster care advocate leaning on his personal history in the foster care system. As a 3x author of the series: From the Tongue of a Foster Child, he has garnered national attention for his spoken word style as well as his unprecedented skill as a poet and author. In addition to a unique delivery of spoken word poetry, Ambition teaches workshops and programs to help engage and bolster students to bring their spoken word talents to a new level of mastery.

Ambition is also journalist for foster children around the globe. His poetry reveals their struggles, trauma and hidden memories. 

Ambition has performed for Temple University, the NAACP, and the Wells Fargo Center.

  • This event will take place in the Burlington County Library auditorium.
  • There is a strict capacity of 250 guests and seating is on a first come, first served basis.
