Teen Poetry Book Discussion - Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds

In honor of National Poetry Month and leading up to our Coffee House event, we will be discussing poetry and novels in verse!
In this event specifically we will be reading the New York Times Best Seller book Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds.
Long Way Down has also been awarded the Printz Honor Award, Coretta Scott Honor Award, and Newberry Honor Award, and its author Jason Reynolds was the Library of Congress's National Ambassador for Young Peoples Literature from 2020 to 2022.
This novel in verse is an honest and brilliant story detailing the harsh reality of teenaged gun violence.
