DIY Eclipse T-shirt and Lunar Calendar

We can’t wait to celebrate the 2024 Great American Total Solar Eclipse. Join us and make your own special eclipse t-shirt and lunar calendar mementos. Your shirt will be a must have fashion accessory to be worn on the day of the eclipse while the calendar will help you keep track of the phases of the moon throughout the year. Bring a shirt and we will supply the paints!

You can create the ring of fire seen during the rare phenomenon leaving a thin ring of light around the moon or the Bailey’s beads which happens as the moon covers the sun allowing beads of sunlight to shine through in some places. As the shirts dry and before adding the final touches, patrons will sit down, color a mandala, and fill in the phases of the moon on their DIY lunar calendar.

• Patrons must bring their own black or dark colored t-shirts
• Attendees will get a pair of Solar Glasses at the end of the program to use for viewing the Eclipse on April 8th, 2024
