Summer Reading – We’re Halfway There!

| Burlington County Library

Check the calendar! We’re halfway through our annual Summer Reading program for kids, teens and adults. That means you still have four more weeks to complete your reading goals with BCLS this summer, so why not join the fun!

Remember, our Summer Reading program officially runs until Aug. 12 and you’re invited to participate by reading books, writing book reviews, and completing activities as you earn digital badges on Beanstack, our reading tracker. Simply log into your existing Beanstack account or create one, either online or with Beanstack’s mobile app available for free through the App Store or Google Play. And with its barcode scanner, the mobile app is perfect for families who want to easily log books for all readers linked to an account.

This year’s Summer Reading theme is “All Together Now,” so why not plan to spend some of your vacation time at the library, too! There are still plenty of exciting in-person, Summer Reading events listed on our calendar for kids of all ages to enjoy, including, fun science programs, exotic animal presentations,  amazing magic shows, family sing-alongs and more. Summer isn’t over yet! Make sure to take a trip to your local library or browse our events online to see what else BCLS has going on!
