Star Party: B.Y.O.T.
We will host the star party on the front patio of the library. We invite anyone with an interest in astronomy or stargazing. Bring your own telescopes or take turns looking through the one purchased for the library by the Friends of the Burlington County Library, Incorporated. Whether you are amateur astronomers, astronomy club members, science teachers, college students, or just an adult who is curious about observing celestial objects, come share the wonder of the cosmos through telescope observation and enjoy some time socializing with us. Attendees will get a pair of Solar Glasses at the end of the program to use for viewing the Eclipse on April 8th, 2024.
Eclipse glasses are provided by the Space Science Institute STARnet program and funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. For safe eclipse viewing visit the American Astronomical Society’s webpage: How to View a Solar Eclipse Safely | Solar Eclipse Across America (aas.org)
Limit one pair of glasses per person.
