Jim Cullen, author of 20 books, will chat about his work as a cultural historian. He'll be focusing on the topic of his 1997 book, Born in the USA: Bruce Springsteen in American Life which will be updated and revised in 2024.
Biography:
Jim Cullen is the author of 20 books, including The American Dream: A Short History of an Idea that Shaped a Nation, Sensing the Past: Hollywood Stars and Historical Visions, and Those Were the Days: Why 'All in the Family' Still Matters. His articles and reviews have appeared in The Washington Post, Time, Rolling Stone, Newsday, and other publications. His 1997 book Born in the USA: Bruce Springsteen in American Life will be issued in a third revised and updated edition in 2024.
