BCLS offers a variety of devices for customers to borrow such as Tablet Kits, Mobile WiFi Hotspots, Chromebooks and Launchpads. Whether you’re looking to brush up on your study skills or jump in to a job hunt, we can set you up for success.
Tablets are pre-loaded with essential apps for video conferencing, online school, and job hunting, Microsoft Office and Google Drive, as well as library resources like Udemy, Rosetta Stone and our digital collection. If you also need to connect to the internet we offer Mobile WiFi Hotspots. This program is made possible by a FY2020 CARES Act Grant for Museum and Libraries from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
Self-contained tablets that cover a range of learning experiences and are made to be passed from one set of hands to the next. No download time. No need for WiFi.
A quick and easy way to browse the web. The library offers these powerful devices as an alternative to the desktop computers already available at each of our locations. Whether you're looking through our shelves, doing research via microfilm, or just want to sit in a comfy chair and need a computer, check out a Chromebook.
