Your Contributions Make an Impact!

| Burlington County Library

It’s National Library Week and that’s a great time to celebrate all the ways the BCLS Foundation values your longstanding support. Thanks to your contributions, the foundation has been empowered to invest in important library and community initiatives that make a difference! We couldn’t be more grateful, and we hope you will continue to lend your support.

A registered 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, the BCLS Foundation seeks private financial assistance to shape our libraries as a fundamental community resource for today and future generations. And the organization has taken great strides to do just that! Some of the foundation’s more recent noteworthy accomplishments include:

  • Partnering with the Medford Library Association to raise nearly $55,000 to fund technology and furnishings for the new Pinelands branch with plans to also purchase art work and install a local history exhibit.
  • Expanding the BCLS Special Needs Collection to include the Evesham, Cinnaminson, Maple Shade and Pemberton branches. Funding this unique collection of books, toys and manipulatives at four more locations enables families throughout Burlington County to borrow items designed for unique learning needs.
  • Hosting a technology donation drive with the assistance of TDI Connect to collect used computers that were refurbished and distributed to dozens of families in need.
