Festive Fun at the Library

All shows begin at 2 pm and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to mark your calendar, then swing by, grab a seat, and spend the afternoon with us! (Please note: the library auditorium has a strict seating capacity of 250, so plan to arrive early.)

Beat the chill outside with these special indoor events:

Dec, 1 - Sundays on Stage: Jersey Sound Chorus - Sounds of the Season  
Kick off the holidays with a breathtaking musical performance of jazz, Broadway tunes and old favorites. This local chorus is sure to put everyone in a festive mood!

Dec. 7 - Wind Symphony of Southern New Jersey
The performance by this 42-piece orchestra, founded in 1965 by Lucien Cailliet as the Cherry Hill Wind Symphony, will feature new spins on some holiday classics.

Dec. 8 - Friends Classic Rock - Holiday Concert
Friends Classic Rock returns to the library to perform well-loved holiday favorites the whole family will enjoy.

Dec. 14 -  Essence of Harmony Choral Society
This incredible performance of reimagined seasonal music and favorites orchestrated by Dave Williamson will feature the chorus, along with guest soloists, a narrator and orchestra. Get ready for an unforgettable show!

Before the concert, enjoy some holiday shopping at the library’s Cultural Festival and Holiday Craft Fair. The IDEA Action Committee in tandem with the BCLS Events Team will be hosting this festive event that begins at 10 am and features local craft vendors.

Dec. 15 - Ballet with the Sugar Plum Fairy
Join the sugar plum fairy herself as she brings the story of the nutcracker to life through dance. Get swept away in this classic wintertime tale with a live retelling of Act II of the Nutcracker that’s fun for the whole family.
