BURLINGTON COUNTY LIBRARY PRESENTS NEW TRAVELING EXHIBIT
View “The Many Faces of George Washington” Dec. 7 to Jan. 15

The Burlington County Library will present “The Many Faces of George Washington,” a traveling panel exhibit that provides background and insight into our nation’s first president, from Dec. 7 though Jan. 15 in the library’s Exhibit Room.

Composed of seven freestanding sections, the exhibit uses interpretive and educational materials to examine the multi-dimensional man behind the myth.

Produced by George Washington’s home, Mount Vernon, in conjunction with The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the display highlights many facets of Washington’s leadership through color graphics of paintings, photographs, and iconic objects from the Mount Vernon collections.

The Gilder Lehrman Institute offers traveling panel exhibitions for display at schools, libraries, and other sites nationwide. www.gilderlehrman.org

“The Many Faces of George Washington” will be on display in the library’s Exhibit Room, where stories about history, science and culture are shared throughout the year.

The Burlington County Library is located at 5 Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton. For more information, call (609) 267-9660.
