With roots as a library stretching back to 1898, it wasn’t until 2003 that the Riverton Free Library joined BCLS. Since then, customers have enjoyed all the resources of the large library system while the library maintains its historic charm. The library, which has remained in the same Victorian home since 1908, is a beloved feature of the community. The grounds and the building, as well as all local financial resources including the management of donations and endowments, continue to be the responsibility of the Riverton Free Library Association.
