You already know library cards are awesome, but did you know September is Library Card Sign-up Month? Having a library card is like having a ticket to a vast array of services, materials and technology you can tuck in a backpack. While library cards may be especially valuable during the school year, they can be used any time and every member of the household can have one as long as they live in the Burlington County.

Don’t have a library card? No problem.

To get started, fill out our online form and start using the online-library immediately. And here’s a cool back-to-school tip - teachers and media specialists employed in Burlington County are also welcome to apply.

Each cardholder can check out up to 35 items, including books, movies, music, and more! Once you have a card, even checked-out items are within your reach. Simply place a hold on any item and when it gets returned, we'll reserve it just for you.

Too busy to visit the library? Once you activate your card, we've got you covered on the digital front as well with our vast collection of ebooks, audio ebooks and streaming videos, and online resources, like Rosetta Stone.

Remember, libraries play an important role in the education and development of children, so join the celebration and sign up for your library card today!
