Browse for Bargains at the Burlington County Library Nov. 30 to Dec. 3

It’s time to stock up on books and movies for the long winter ahead and the Friends of the Burlington County Library are ready to help with another used books and media sale set for Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 at the library in Westampton.

Stop by the meeting room to browse through thousands of gently-used items at the Friends’ final sale of the year. Once again, the majority of items that will be available have not been offered at previous library sales. Look for a wide selection of hardbacks, paperbacks, and children’s books, as well as DVDs, CDs, and more.

Shop for bargains on:
• Thursday, Nov. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, a preview sale offered to Friends members only will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Become a Friends member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family.)

During the upcoming sale, more than 7,500 books will be available, all grouped by genre, and most costing just 50 cents to $1 each. Take time to explore books about cooking, business, hobbies, crafts, biographies, music, self-help, art, travel, history, religion, science fiction, and more. Specially-priced coffee table, art and oversized books, some at even greater discounts, also will be available.

The Friends recently received a nice donation of media items in good condition, including music CDs, which will cost $1 each, and DVD movies and audiobooks, which will cost just $2 each.

Also at this sale, the Friends will be selling bargain-priced Christmas-themed novels, craft books, cookbooks, and music CDs. There will also be specially-priced children’s books and $10 Friends logo tote bags perfect for gift giving. As a bonus, each bag comes with a $2 discount toward all Friends’ books/media sales.

In addition, if you’re one of the first 300 shoppers to purchase items, you will receive a $1 coupon that may be used at the next Friends sale scheduled for February 22-25.

All proceeds benefit Burlington County Library programming, such as the children’s Summer Reading Program and the Museum Pass Program.

The Burlington County Library is located on Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton. For more information, call (609) 267-9660 or visit
