“I allow the flow of alcohol ink to organically form the structure of my piece. Using a palette of different colors enables me to set the intention of where the piece will evolve. On occasion, I layer acrylic over the alcohol ink once it has dried giving my piece added dimension, and it is also an incredibly soothing process. I also enjoy using fine liner pens to detail over the alcohol ink images”.

This weeks featured artist will be Nina Yocom who will be working with alcohol inks. Nina is a self-taught artist born and raised in suburban Philadelphia. If you have a passion for art and would like to watch a demo from Nina, you can join us at the
