Unclaimed Property Information Session

The State of New Jersey's Unclaimed Property Administration (UPA) administers the State’s Uniform Unclaimed Property Statute (N.J.S.A. 46:30B1-107). The primary function of this Statute is for the UPA to act as a custodian for funds where the rightful owner has either abandoned or lost tract of the funds. By statute, these unclaimed funds, such as bank accounts, payroll checks, securities, and utility deposits, are delivered to the UPA by the holding company. It is the UPA’s mission to reunite the reported owners with their lost funds.

The presentation should take approximately ten minutes and afterwards our staff will be available to search individual names on the Unclaimed Property database.
