Child of the Holocaust (Virtual)
Join Dr. William Reszelbach, a child of Holocaust survivors, as he shares his family’s harrowing experiences at the hands of the Nazis, coupled with Holocaust history. Dr. Reszelbach will discuss his parents' will to survive and how these traumatic events affected their new life in the USA. He will also discuss his own life and his perspective on modern-day anti-Semitism.
"During the period of time my mother was in hiding [in Poland], my father survived four concentration camps. When this ordeal was over my father was emotionally damaged for the remainder of his life. Although my parents' experiences left them emotionally scarred, they never wanted me to be oblivious to what happened to 6 million Jews and 6 million Christians. I now feel it incumbent upon me to relate the experiences of the Holocaust."
