Award-winning Journalist Presents “Lifesounds” Program April 1

Get ready to celebrate New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Weiner’s upcoming appearance at the Burlington County Library with a special “Girls Night Out” on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m.

In anticipation of the author’s April 10 visit, fans are invited to gather at the library in Westampton for this fun and relaxing event featuring crafts, light refreshments and a presentation by award-winning journalist Sally Friedman.

A local favorite, Sally will take a look at ordinary life with humor and honesty when she presents her “Lifesounds” program in the library auditorium. Visitors are invited to laugh and cry along with her as they reflect on how her experiences are similar to their own.

A girls night out would not be complete without some creativity, and whipping up a facial scrub, painting wine glasses, and designing bookmarks are a few of the other activities planned. Admission is free, so please bring your girlfriends and join in the fun.

In addition, a selection of novels by Jennifer Weiner will be for sale at the library that evening and leading up to the author’s appearance and book signing on Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets for “A Conversation with Jennifer Weiner” cost $20 each and are available now on the BCLS website at

The Burlington County Library is located at 5 Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton. For more information, go to or call (609) 267-9660.
