Every year, the US celebrates Dessert Day on Oct. 14.  While the origins of the holiday are unknown, it has become a day to celebrate all things sweet. From cookies to cupcakes, brownies and pies, baking a treat for your friends and family is the best way to celebrate!

An easy treat to make to celebrate Dessert Day is cake mix cookies. This simple recipe uses two eggs, a stick of melted butter, and any cake mix you like!  Add mix-ins like chocolate chips or chopped-up candy bars to customize these cookies to your liking!
