About us

The Burlington County Library was established in 1921 as the first county library in New Jersey. It began in a small room of the Mount Holly YMCA and has since grown into a system of libraries that serve the largest county in the state. The main location in Westampton is the largest location in the system and features a tech lab, the New Jersey history room, expansive microfilm collection, Storytelling Room, Teen Zone, meeting and study rooms and much more. The library also has a 250-seat auditorium where it regularly hosts award-winning musical performances.
