The Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (PINES) has
year-round hands-on, immersive programs including school field trips, boy and
girl scout badge programs, in-school presentations, adult group
presentations, teacher workshops, and special events.

PINES, a program of RCBC, operates in cooperation with Brendan T. Byrne State
Forest to provide educational programs featuring the natural and cultural
history of the New Jersey Pine Barrens.

The goal is to provide opportunities for people to be immersed in local habitats, to foster awareness of all
living things within those habitats and to help people discover their past
and present connection to the land.

Located on the grounds of Historic Whitesbog Village located in Browns Mills,  New Jersey
surrounded by 3000 acres of beautiful forests, wetlands, and cranberry bogs.
