  • From Book Truck to Mobile Library.
  • By all accounts, the first county library in New Jersey got off to a fine start.
  • It all began with three teachers, who saw the need for better access to books, and worked together to establish the first county library in the state of New Jersey. Our roots began in a single room at a YMCA in Mt. Holly in 1921.
  • This year, we're celebrating a milestone anniversary - 100 years of serving Burlington County! Our rich history is full of important milestones representing decades of achievement and incredible progress.
