Name/Description Keyword
A Name/Description Keyword search
will locate all organizations with your search word in the organization
name, description or subject.
You can choose the number of results to display (10, 20, 50, 100, 200
or all). Depending on your choice and the number of entries found,
you will see the number of search results at the top of the page. Be sure
to
click "Next page" if
all your hits are not displayed.
Subject Keyword
Organizations are assigned subjects to facilitate searching. For example,
an organization may deal with cancer patients and also have volunteer
opportunities. An organization would be searchable under Subject
Keyword by either of these
terms providing the subjects have been added to their listing.
When conducting a Subject Keyword search it is best to chose “Display ‘all’ results
at a time.” For example, a Subject Keyword search for children limited
to a “Display of ‘10’ results at a time” lists ten
headings without an indication that more listings are available. The same
search with a “Display ‘all’ results at a time” lists
45 headings.
Alphabetical Name List
An Alphabetical Name List search will bring up the Community Resource Directory
in alphabetical order beginning with your search word through to the end
of the directory.
You can choose the number of results to display (10, 20, 50, 100,
200 or all). Depending on your choice and the number of entries found,
you will see the number of search results at the top of the page. Be
sure
to
click "Next page" if all your hits are not displayed.
Alphabetical Subject List
An Alphabetical Subject List search will bring up the Subject directory
in alphabetical order beginning with your search word through to the end
of the directory.
You can choose the number of results to display (10, 20, 50, 100,
200 or all). For example, an Alphabetical Subject List search for
senior limited
to a “Display of ‘10’ results at a time” lists
ten headings without an indication that more listings are available.
Entire List
An Entire List search does not require a search word
to be entered. This search will display the entire Community Resource
Directory. You
can, however, choose the number of results to display (10,
20, 50, 100, 200 or all). Depending on your choice and the number
of entries found,
you will see the number of search results at the top of the page. Be
sure
to
click "Next page" if all your hits are not displayed.
