  • TeensHealth.org was created for honest, accurate information and advice about health, relationships, and growing up. They offer a safe, private place that's accessible 24 hours a day to get the doctor-approved info you need. Created by The Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's Health Media.
  • The Burlington County Community Partnership for Healthy Adolescents is focused on adolescent pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection prevention and drug and alcohol prevention. The prime areas are Burlington City, Mount Holly, Willingboro and Pemberton.

Violence & Crime

  • Teens, Crime and the Community is a joint program of the National Crime Prevention Council and Street Law, Inc. Youth under 19 years of age are the people most likely to be victims of violent crime. Do something about it.
  • Violence Warning Signs, produced by the American Psychology Association and MTV, provide teens information about identifying the signs of violent behavior.

arrow CONTACT of Burlington County provides outreach to youth with Teenline, a peer telephone helpline exclusively for and run by teenagers.

TeenLine is a safe place where teens can talk to other teens about the stresses in their lives and discuss ways to manage those stresses.

TeenLine provides a non-judgmental person of the same age group to listen and help.

Teens and smoking do not mix. Find out information about tobacco use or learn how to kick butt once you're hooked.

If your school does not already have one, get started opening a chapter called REBEL. REBEL groups are teens dedicated to educating peers and other members of the community about the dangers of tobacco use.
