The official start of our 8-week summer reading program is Monday, June 24th.  This program is open to every level of reader from Read to Me on up and everyone is encouraged to participate.  Corresponding programs are scheduled throughout the summer.

For adults we will be putting a new twist on our "Blind Date with a Book" program.  Did You Dig Your Date? digs up some titles that go along with the summer reading theme "Groundbreaking Reads".  Same rules apply, the reader selects a book from our Summer Reading shelves, digs in and rates their experience as a treasure, satisfactory or  worm food.  Completed ratings sheets will be entered into a prize drawing at the end of the summer.

We have something for everyone - our Dig Into Reading Passport challenge, our summer slumber club, an evening program for children ages 5 - 8.  Summer science nights in August.  The Delanco PTO is sponsoring one of our summer science nights when the American Swedish Historical Museum will bring their archeological program - "Dig Into the Past".

Beginning crochet enthusiasts can come in twice in July to learn basic techniques.  You can even beat the heat or late afternoon doldrums in July and August at four Summer Matinees.

These and so many more activities planned for the summer so be sure to check the calendar for dates.  Program registration is required for most programs due to seating limitations and to ensure sufficient supplies are available.
