Tax Forms and Assistance
Tax Forms available at the Library
The Burlington County Library participates in voluntary service programs by making IRS and NJ State tax forms and publications available to the public. Each year during the tax season, January 1st through April, the library distributes thousands of the most requested tax forms and publications. Other tax forms and publications not available for free distribution can be photocopied for a small charge or printed via the Internet. Some forms must be obtained directly from the IRS or NJ Division of Taxation. Call 1-800-829-3676. For New Jersey forms, call 1-800-323-4400.

The Burlington County Library System provides scheduled volunteer income tax assistance with VITA volunteers. The VITA volunteer counselors are trained every year by the IRS and the New Jersey Revenue Department to assist taxpayers in preparing basic Federal and New Jersey State income tax returns. Participants should bring prior year's tax returns and current year tax records to their VITA appointment. VITA Services are available at various branches throughout the Burlington County Library System from Mid-February through mid-April.
