Circulating materials may be reserved in person, by telephone, online or through our smartphone app.  Up to 35 requests may be placed on items found in the Library Catalog.  Up to 10 items may be reserved in the eBook Calalog.

Request Item in Library Catalog to be Mailed

  • Library in a Bag is a unique way to request items to be delivered from the library, directly to your home, via the U.S. Postal Service. Sometimes it is just not possible to visit the library during open hours to pick-up materials. This service will make requesting and receiving library items a little more convenient!

Request Item in Ebooks Catalog

  • Search the eBook catalog.  When an ebook is available, you will see the option Add to Bookbag. You can immediately checkout and download this title.
  • Items that have the Request Digital Media  option, may be placed on hold.
  • You will be prompted for library card number and PIN. You will also be asked for your email to receive notification when the item is available for checkout.
  • Upon receiving an email about the item's availability, log into your account and click the My Digital Media Requests link.
  • You may check out the item and then proceed to download.

Request Item NOT in Library Catalog

  • Items not available in the library catalog may be requested through inter-library loan (ILL).
  • There is a $1.00 handling fee for each item borrowed.
  • Customers will be notified by telephone when an item is available.
  • Items ready for pickup are held for 4 days.

Suggest a Purchase

  • Items not in the library catalog may be suggested for purchase
  • If the item is selected for purchase, it is generally added to the library's catalog within one month.
