What's going on in the library parking parking lot? It's National Night Out, an event sponsored by our Cinnaminson Police department, designed to educate residents about public safety. The event will be held on Tuesday, August 7th from 4-9pm and includes police dog demonstrations, child safety-seat inspections, face painting, music, food, raffles and giveaways. Be sure to come inside the library to cool off and check out some books! If the kids want to learn more about police dogs, we have titles like Paw & Order: Dramatic Investigations by an Animal Cop on the Beat by Allison Estes and Tina Salaks, Police Dog Heroes by Linda Bozzo, and Jack and Rebel, the Police Dog by Jack the Dog, as told to Patricia Finney.
