Each week, we'll focus on different themes as we explore maker culture and work on projects as a group. We'll collaborate with campers online and learn from professional makers via interactive videos that can be watched at home or at any one of our weekly camper orientations. Orientations will take place in the Auditorium at the County Library in Westampton at 11:00am every Monday (starting July 6th). At these orientations, campers will learn about the projects we'll be working on that week and explore aspects of that week's theme. We'll interact with campers at home and play some games to get our creative thinking skills up and running before moving on to a crafty activity. If you have a smartphone or tablet, bring it along to take pictures and share the fun online with friends, family and the maker community!

Additional events are scheduled throughout the summer where campers can work on projects dealing with that week's theme. We are also featuring events from our annual Summer Reading Program that have a maker element. Reading is a big part of being a maker, and you can earn prizes for all the reading you do while learning new techniques, tricks and trades. Summer Reading means logging the things you read from June 22nd to August 14th and turning those logs in to redeem prizes! Learn more about this free, all ages program on our Summer Reading webpage.
