BCLS offers a variety of health events, such as question-and-answer sessions and blood drives.

The Bordentown Library recently hosted a Medicare informational session. During the September 9 program, Ken Anderson of Anderson Insurance explained Medicare basics and options for coverage. If you missed it, don’t worry. You’re invited to visit the Bordentown Library on Monday, September 18 at 11am for Medicare and You presented by John A Billetdoux of BGA Insurance Group.

Topics will include:

  • How Medicare works and what your rights and entitlements are.
  • Differences between Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage Plan.

If you’re looking to give back to your community, the Bordentown Library will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Saturday, September 30 at 10:30am. The American Red Cross wants you to know: every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood. A single donation can save up to three lives.
