On Saturday, July 25th, Headquarters hosted a Superhero Training Camp for children ages 6 to 10. Participants created hero names, masks, and shields! They were also challenged to a ladder jump, relay race, bean bag toss, tire jump, spider web balloon toss, and lightsaber practice.
On Wednesday, July 29th, Headquarters hosted a pasta dinosaur craft! Kids used a variety of fun pasta shapes to create skeletons of their favorite dinosaurs. Check-out our online events calendar for more exciting summer programs !
Squeak! Pop! Children were entertained Wednesday night when balloon artist Ryan O'Dwyer visited the library to teach the children how to create balloon animals. Children and parents alike learned how to make balloon dogs, swords, monkeys, and giraffes.
Dieticians from ShopRite shared super hero stories and super snack ideas with children on Wednesday, July 29th. The children enjoyed hearing about how eating healthy can help them become more like their favorite super heroes.
