The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a film unlike any other you have seen before. The way it skips through history will remind you of Forrest Gump, but the fantasy of a man aging in reverse changes the perspective just enough to create a unique viewing experience. Director David Fincher steps waaaaay out of his comfort zone with his best buddy Brad Pitt and together they tell a mature, touching, and inspirational story.

Wordplay
Wordplay is a film dedicated to the history and culture of the crossword puzzle. Starting out as just another puzzle on the puzzle page, the crossword puzzle (specifically the New York Times’ edition) has become something much more.
A History of Bond, James Bond
There is definitely a division between Old Bond and New Bond. This difference is most easily noted by looking at Bond himself. Daniel Craig’s blonde Bond stands at 5’10”. A brick powerhouse bathed in machismo grand style, while the original was a classy 6’2” that lurked behind a mist of approachability used to drag in his quirky villains. While there will always be arguments over which Bond is best, there is no right answer. James Bond is male ego incarnate. He is fantasy and there are those who will always love the fantasy no matter who fills the shoes of 007.
A Journey to the Center of the BCLS
Let me have a minute of your time to discuss what has become of the Jules Verne classic, A Journey to the Center of the Earth. Written in 1864, this science fiction novel tells the tale of Professor Otto Lindenbrock, who believes there are volcanic tubes that will allow him to travel into the center of our planet. A team, consisting of the professor, his nephew and their guide, descend into an extinct Icelandic volcano only to encounter prehistoric animals and the wrath of Mother Nature, before eventually coming to the surface again in southern Italy.
Comparing Chaos
1941 and Collateral are two very different movies. The first is an ensemble comedy about the chaos that ensued after the United States began its involvement in World War II. The second is a thriller which progresses over the course of one night, in which a taxi driver picks up one very interesting customer. While both are completely different films, they both invite chaos to play an active part in the story.

Arrested Development
As I start this post I am faced with the challenge of describing an indescribable sitcom. You see, it’s not like I can just say, “Arrested Development is a show about nothing.” I can’t even say that the show is about the difficulties of living with a dysfunctional family. The Bluth’s are much worse than dysfunctional, they are out to drive each other to the asylum.
