BURLCO LIBRARY SYSTEM INVITES NJ BUSINESS OWNERS TO
FREE SOCIAL MEDIA AND EMAIL MARKETING BREAKFAST EVENT
Business Growth Workshop Offered at Library Headquarters, Thurs., April 18
Local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to a free workshop focusing on social media and email marketing being hosted by the Burlington County Library System on Thursday, April 18 from 8 to 10 a.m. at library headquarters in Westampton.
Part of the New Jersey State Library’s “Grow NJ Business Strong” breakfast event series taking place at libraries throughout the state, the event will also showcase a variety of organizations and resources available in New Jersey to help businesses grow and thrive.
“We’d like the Burlington County business community to know that their library is open for business,” said BCLS Director Ranjna Das. “Events like these demonstrate how strongly we feel about helping to grow the local economy.”
The workshop will be presented by a business marketing expert from Constant Contact, a leader in online marketing and business coaching. In addition, representatives from the following organizations will be in attendance and available to answer questions and provide information about resources and programs: Burlington County Chamber of Commerce; The Incubators at Burlington County College (Business Incubator, Science Incubator, Virtual Incubator); New Jersey Business Action Center; US Small Business Administration; New Jersey Small Business Development Center; Women’s Business Center; SCORE; New Jersey Chamber of Commerce; Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey; Connecting NJ; and ReferenceUSA.
“The goal of the Grow NJ Business Strong event series is to provide tips and techniques for best practices in business marketing, and also raise awareness of the useful resources for business planning and research available at no direct cost to businesses at NJ’s local public libraries and various state agencies,” said Mary Chute, New Jersey State Librarian. “In the face of a slowly recovering economy and natural disasters, NJ business owners and managers need to know every cost-effective resource available, and most importantly, the need for a strong online media presence.”
