Come and join the Burlington County Library's Summer Reading Program
and attend the fun programs and events we are planning.
This summer's theme, FIZZ, BOOM, READ!, is all about science! Become a scientist this summer at the library!
- Register at your local library beginning Monday, June 23rd to receive your FIZZ, BOOM, READ! reading packet and prize slips.
- Keep track of all the reading you do between June 23rd and August 15th. Read whatever you like, the choice is yours!
This year's summer reading program features three different groups for children:
Early Literacy for babies & toddlers birth up to age 3
Pick up an Early Literacy activity sheet! Complete at least 10 activities & return to receive a prize!
Counting Books Read for children ages 3-8 years
For every (4) FOUR BOOKS READ, children ages 3-8 years can collect a small prize, a free book or a chance to enter into a drawing for a larger prize by completing a BOOKS READ prize slip. Return your prize slips every time you have read (4) four books! The more you read, the more prizes you earn!
Counting Hours Read for children 8-12 years
For every (4) FOUR HOURS spent reading, children ages 8-12 years can collect a small prize, a free book or a chance to enter into a drawing for a larger prize by completing an HOURS READ prize slip. Return your prizes every time you have spent time reading (4) hours! The more time spent reading, the more prizes you earn!
