History has been made or at the very least changed. This, not being an Olympic blog, does not concern Michael Phelps' phenomenal achievements.  This is a ruler who has been on their throne since 1962.

This king fell last week, when Sight & Sound magazine conducted their annual international film critics best films ever made listCitizen Kane by Orson Welles and the usurper to the throne, Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock. Personally, I like both films but in my humble, non-film-critic opinion I enjoy Mr. Hitchcock's body of work much more maybe because the man described his movies as being like a slice of cake...and who doesn't like cake?

If you are interested in watching some of Hitchcock's classic works, then take a look at what we offer here at BCLS.
