Children ages 8-12 gathered round our campfire today for a silly story and crafts!  Each child made an edible campfire and decorated a "Dream Big" personalized poster to hang in their room!

And plenty of other things!  This afternoon we had balloon artist Miss Cheryl Anne here to tell a story and make everyone their very own balloon!  As you can imagine this caused quite a buzz in the library, if you'd like to attend some of our summer reading programs check out our calendar.

Following this summer’s reading theme, Dream Big-Read, our Mother/Daughter book club read about dreams with a twist.  We read the BFG by Roald Dahl and enjoyed a fun discussion, refreshments and a no-sew pillow craft.
