A Matter of Balance is an 8-week structured group intervention for older adults that emphasizes practical strategies to reduce fear of falling and increase activity levels.  Participants will learn:

Babies, newborn to 18 months, and caregivers will enjoy stories, finger plays, songs, and socialization.

Groups will decide what games to play each week.  Games include, but are not limited to, Mahjong, Scrabble, Canasta, Hearts and Dominoes.  No formal lessons, we are just playing for fun!

Children of all ages are invited to come to the library to meet Isla, a reading therapy dog. Isla will listen as children read their favorite books to her.

Soft & Gentle Yoga

Adult

Relax and be centered by taking a yoga class that is soft and gentle.  It's perfect for beginners wanting a slower pace or for those who are very stiff or have minor injuries.  This will be a comfortable, nurturing yoga experience with lots of stretching, breathing exercises and deep relaxation.
