Children are welcome to practice their reading skills and make new furry friends by reading aloud to registered therapy dogs from the volunteer group Happy Tails.   These dogs love to hear a good story, and reading to dogs has been shown to increase literacy skills and confidence in children.

Social Knitting

This knitting group is for people who know how to knit, and would like to socialize, knit and offer occasional helpful hints and fresh ideas to fellow knitters.  Participants are asked to bring light colored 4-ply yarn and short size  9 or 10 knitting needles.
