Paws to Read (Ocho)

Children are welcome to practice their reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to Ocho, a registered therapy dog. Ocho is a lovable German Shepherd and he loves to hear a good story. Reading to dogs has been shown in increase literacy skills and confidence in children.

Bring the whole family to the library for this month's feature, "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights"  (83 min.).  Snacks and beverages may be served, but feel free to bring your own goodies and blanket to get comfy.

Registration for this event begins on Tuesday, July 21st at 10am.

Get fit at the library! This family fitness program is designed to teach kids about the importance of healthy lifestyle habits.  Children and their caregiver will take part in a 15-20 minute workout that is both energizing and fun.  It will incorporate stretching, movement,  balance and more!
