Our Friends Limited book/media sale offers a large collection of coffee table/art/oversize books (about 1,000) and movie DVD's (at least 250). At 10:30am in celebration of Fandom Fest we  will add at least a 1,000 science fiction/fantasy books for sale.

Children are welcome to practice their reading skills and make new furry friends by reading aloud to registered therapy dogs from the volunteer group Happy Tails.   These dogs love to hear a good story, and reading to dogs has been shown to increase literacy skills and confidence in children.

Attention all aspiring artists, between the ages of 16 and 22! This summer the BCLS will be offering three art class series', held over 8 weeks. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of comics, an intro to figure drawing, and color theory. Each class runs around 2 hours.
