Sundays on Stage - Pine Barons Chorus

Adult, Teen, Family, Music

The Pine Barons Chorus is dedicated to preserving one of America’s unique song styles – barbershop harmony. The award-winning group has delivered the joy of a cappella music to audiences throughout the Delaware Valley since 1949. Using four-part harmony, they create a wall of sound where the melody of a song is supported and
carried by the three other voice ranges. The perfectly blended chords create a fifth, or “phantom” voice for all to hear. This phenomenon is what gives this style of
singing its distinctive unique sound
