Girls Who Code Club - CANCELED

Kids, Teen, Homeschooler

This program has unfortunately been canceled. If interested in a future program, please contact Miss Megan at the Maple Shade Library.

“Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology”

Please join us at the Maple Shade Library this fall as we host our first Girls who Code Club, focusing on women in tech and building a sense of sisterhood.  The group will spend 10 sessions working on different coding activities while also creating components for a larger group computer science impact project, focusing on a topic we deem to be especially important to our community.

  • Ages 11 to 18
  • Limit 10 participants for ALL TEN SESSIONS
  • By registering you are committing to participate for the full ten sessions. Please do not register if you do not intend to join us for every session you can. You are registering once for a 10 session program. Please do not register more than one student in one registration form.
  • Registration begins Monday, September 18 at 10am

Participants must have an email address to participate in the program, or get parental consent to create an email address at the start of the program.

Participants under the age of 13 and those without a smart phone must have a parent who can download the GWC Loop App and monitor it for them throughout the course of the program—this is  one way the group will keep in touch.

Fridays at 4 pm (sessions are between 1 and 2 hours)

Fri, Dec. 22 (4:00pm)
