Sundays on Stage - The Uptown String Band

The Uptown String Band was originally located in North West Philadelphia for many years. In 1990, they were brought further "uptown" from the city and into Bucks County and are now based in Hulmeville, PA. They are a member of the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association. Uptown  recorded the world renowned "I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover," selling over 1,000,000 copies worldwide.  This award-winning band performs locally, nationally, and internationally throughout the
year. They take pride in entertaining the public with “Philadelphia String Band Music At Its Finest.” The Uptown String Band has been parading in the annual Philadelphia New Years Day Mummers Parade since 1938.
